Super Bowl Weekend 2015
In annual fashion, TKO Productions welcomed over 300 guests to McGill’s campus bar, Gerts, to watch the New England Patriots defeat the Seattle Seahawks in an exhilarating 28-24 victory for the 48th annual Super Bowl. In pure Super Bowl tradition, our lovely partners – the Gerts staff worked hard satisfying the thirst and hunger of die-hard fans, who began filling up the venue as early as 12:15. Of course the best part of the Super Bowl was not the football, but rather Katy Perry’s star-studded performance complete with all our Katy favourites including banger “Dark Horse.” As expected, football beau Tom Brady was christened with the Most Valuable Player Award, having led the spectacular comeback in the 4th quarter. Fun fact: viewership peaked to 120.8 million viewers during the 4th quarter comeback, making Super Bowl XLIX the most-watched American television program in history.
TKO Productions of course, would not be able to host such an event without the biceps and hearts of Zeta Psi brothers, who assisted the event by accommodating guests at the door, running a meticulous coat check, and facilitating cheers and jeers throughout the afternoon. Once again, special thanks goes to Gerts management and staff for allowing us to run such a sound event year after year. May this glorious partnership ensue for years to come. Cheers!
