Right to Play Spin-A-Thon

spinathon

The Right to Play Spin-A-Thon is an annual event that happens at universities across the country raising money and awareness for Right to Play; a charity that aims to help underprivileged children through sports. From 11Am-5Pm on October 1st, brothers of our chapter rode exercise bikes at one of the busiest parts of McGill campus. During that time we collected donations from students, and spent time telling students about this charity and it’s benefits.

This year, the Alpha Psi chapter was extremely pleased to raise $2661, up from our record-setting total of $1800 last year. This was the most raised by any student group at this event. The boys are extremely proud to have contributed to this excellent cause.

We’d like to particularly thank one active brother, Kabir Vassanji. Brother Vassanji has acted as our Philanthropy Chair for more than a year now and spearheaded this event. Thank you, Kabby!
