Zeta Psi’s 166th Annual Convention
With such a impressive year of building our chapter, Alpha Psi was excited to make our way down to the 166th Annual Convention in Washington, D.C. With eleven Alpha Psi Brothers in attendance, we had a strong showing at the prestigious event. Everyone who made the trek down to Washington had an amazing time and would like to thank all of the organizers who helped to make the event run so smoothly.
We are happy to announce that through the efforts of our chapter as a whole, we were able to win the Theta Cup, McElroy Order of Excellence, and the William A. Comstock Award for the second consecutive year. Below is a full list of the distinctions awarded to Alpha Psi at this year’s Convention:
Ritual Exam Awards – awarded to brothers for receiving a Gold or Silver on their Ritual Exams. Alpha Psi was awarded 7 Gold Awards and 4 Silver Awards
Theta Cup – awarded to the chapter in recognition of it being elected by their fellow Canadian Chapters as the top Canadian chapter in Zeta Psi
McElroy Order of Excellence – awarded to the chapter in recognition of it receiving its third Gold Chapter Award in a row recognizing the chapter as one of Zeta Psi’s strongest entities
William A. Comstock Award – the top honor in the fraternity was bestowed upon the chapter in recognition of the great efforts made by the chapter throughout the academic year
The last few years have been a period of growth and change for the Alpha Psi Chapter, and we could not be happier with our progress. Our goal as a chapter is to continue our success and to better the Zeta Psi fraternity as a whole. We look forward to visiting our brothers at other chapters over the upcoming academic year and seeing everyone at the 167th Convention!
